The Columbia chamber, founded in 1902, has put together a handful of resources that will be beneficial to the businesses of its citizens. The chamber provides access to a wide range of programs, some of which include the following:
Midlands Minority Business Accelerator: This program was put together by a combined effort of Columbia Chamber and some other chambers. The program is designed to help minority business owners sustain their businesses. Participants under this program receive a business advisory and mentorship program. The program is slated for 12 months.
Small Business Council: This organization is under the auspices of the Columbia Chamber, and it operates as an advocacy group for small businesses. Small business owners can also have access to education and networking.
