FOR BIRTHING A TECH BABY
The USC/Coulmbia Technology Incubator is a brainchild of the University of South Carolina and Columbia Technology Incubator.
They have structured programs designed to tackle the specific needs of businesses that are slated for 36 months. These programs, Business Incubation, coLAB, Launchpad, and MentorSC, all cover areas of networking, mentoring, and business acceleration, among others.
The incubator has been running for more than 20 years, and is supported by notable entities such as Wells Fargo. Businesses in all stages are welcome to apply to the incubator, but it's not ideal for retail or high-traffic types of businesses.
FOR WOMEN WHO NEED SPACE
CoCreate Coworking is both a workspace and community for female entrepreneurs. CoCreate is a community of entrepreneurs that women go to to learn how to scale their business from a side hustle to a full-fledged business.
The organization is designed to support people who have moved their business from the idea to the startup stage.
The main idea behind the organization is that they do not want women to run their businesses in isolation and would like for them to have a cheering squad.
They have a community that shares ideas and past experiences on how to tackle problems encountered in entrepreneurship. Their Coworking space also features a content creation studio for making podcasts and recording social media content. They also have meeting rooms, private rooms, and virtual offices.
